How do I know if my child is at the right level for selective school entrance exams when i get no information from school?
Every Parent, Ever.
Age appropriate assessments with real grades to guide school choices
Benchmarking Assessments
With School Reports often vague and somewhat 'vanilla', these simple, home-administered Assessments papers in English and Maths are designed to show parents where their child 'fits' academically against expectations of both the National Curriculum and the ISEB (Independent Schools Examinations Board).
Parents use this service to make sure their child is 'keeping up', identify any areas of strength and weakness in relation to additional tuition needs, or to assist in the transition from State to Independent Schools through preparation for 11+. Ingle Education's Benchmarking Assessments are available for all Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children , but are recommended between the ages of 6 and 11 years old. Papers are marked by a team of highly qualified teachers from Leading Independent Schools and parents receive detailed feedback, recommendations and 'Actual Age versus Operating Age' gauges in relation to State and Private School expectations.
11+ Interview Practice
With the interview very significant in the admissions process for most Independent Schools at 11+ and 13+, being thoroughly prepared for the format of questions and the expectation of the interviewer can greatly reduce children's anxiety. Through one off pre-interview prep sessions or a series of interviews with in between feedback and 'homework', we see rapid and considerable improvements in how children present at Interview.
